A fantastic and rare opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel with a globally recognised organisation. The Role:

You will work in a dynamic and very successful team and enjoy covering the whole spectrum of employment law, including both non-contentious and contentious issues in the EU region. You will assist in navigating complex issues with an output and delivery focus whilst also handling wider general commercial issues and other areas of work. This is a diverse role and will include:

  • Drafting and negotiating a range of employment contracts, including; termination arrangements for employees, consultants, and agencies.
  • Providing support to corporate as well as commercial transactions, in relation to restructuring, redundancies, reorganisations and TUPE
  • Assisting the global team with the creation and maintenance of employment documents, including; contracts of employment, template legal pleadings and settlement agreements.
  • Supporting the team with contentious litigation matters.
  • Provide support on employee issues such as redundancies, restructures and changes to terms and conditions
  • Guiding HR in relation to issues such as; disciplinaries, grievances, poor performance, and sickness.

Key Requirements:

  • French or European qualified lawyer with at least 5 years post qualification experience *
  • Fluent French language skills is essential
  • Must have extensive experience and knowledge in employment law (contentious & non-contentious)
  • Worked at a respectable law firm
  • In-House experience highly desirable   
  • Confident, hardworking and positive mindset
