Business Financial Analyst

Our client is an award-winning international law firm that can trace it roots to the late 1800s. Perhaps uniquely among major firms, they have retained a major client from this time. The firm now has a global reach spanning Europe, Africa, Asia, Middle East and Latin America.

They are now looking to hire a Business Financial Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be a part qualified or qualified Chartered Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Undertake profitability analysis by matter, client and practice area
• Present findings to Partners; provide recommendations
• Support Partners with pricing decisions
• Provide financial input for pitches
• Financial analysis as required
• Review month-end financial information
• Monitor profitability of individual matters
• Prepare presentations on financial matters, including pricing and profitability
• Monitor associate utilisation for Practice Groups

Candidate Profile

• Part qualified or qualifed Accountant
• Previous experience in similar role, within legal or professional services
• Ability to influence Partners
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• A strategic thinker with excellent communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
