Private Client Paralegal

This prestigious North Yorkshire based law firm is looking for a paralegal to join their Private Client Team in Malton.

You will be working alongside one of the firms private client directors working on a caseload of wills, LPAs, estates, trusts and tax advice.

As private client paralegal, you will be expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative to ensure achievement of business objectives are met and you maintain the firms efficient, personal and professional service.

Responsibilities:

• Opening case files and giving estimates to new clients
• Preparing all client correspondence
• To achieve agreed levels of time recording
• To attend clients both in person and on the telephone and to provide assistance in a professional and friendly manner.

To be successful in this private client paralegal role, you will need:

• Relevant qualification (law degree or appropriate paralegal qualification) or directly related work experience
• Sound knowledge of wills and probate proceedings
• Experience of using case management system (Proclaim knowledge is desirable).
