A top tier law firm based in Birmingham city centre is now looking to recruit a highly experienced costs draftsperson/costs lawyer to join on a full time, permanent basis.
The firm can offer the right person a highly competitive salary and benefits package, along with the chance to work in its state of the art offices in Birmingham.
You will join the firm's litigation and dispute resolution group who have a long-standing experience of working with some of the most successful businesses across the UK.
The firm's costs team handles costs negotiations dealing with both litigation and pre-litigated matters. You will be expected to manage your own caseload of files and be adept at drafting bills of costs, in addition, you should also have experience in drafting points of dispute, drafting form H cost budgets and advocacy at cost management hearings.
Other key duties in this role will include drafting bills of costs, formulating offers and negotiating settlements, providing fee earning and administrative support, dealing with all correspondence and handling enquiries.
In order to be considered for this costs draftsperson/costs lawyer role based in Birmingham, you must have previous experience in a similar role, possess experience in drafting bill of costs, have a legal qualification and strong numerical ability.
