Residential Conveyancer - Fishponds (Bristol)
One of the leading law firms in Bristol and the South West is looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancer into its Fishponds office.
Founded in 1998 the firm has grown and expanded to three offices in Bristol whilst developing a formidable and highly experienced team of lawyers.
This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a supportive Conveyancing department and to join a growing team, quickly becoming one of the region's foremost specialist law firms.
The primary responsibilities of this role are:
* Managing a mixed residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction to completion, including leasehold and freehold properties, sale and purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages
* Assisting the Head of Department and Partners in supervising departmental support staff
* To develop and maintain excellent client and commercial contact relationships and enhance the firm's client basis by effective liaison with existing clients and introducers
* Ensure files are maintained to high standards, and that matters are progressed in line with the practice's procedures
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer and have:
* Experience in managing a caseload of mixed residential files, including leasehold and freehold properties, sale and purchases
* Excellent client care skills with the ability to market the firm successfully
* Strong interpersonal skills
This position is based at the firms Fishponds branch, though you may be required to attend other branches on occasion. Candidates must have a valid practising certificate.
Salary starting from £22,000 to £38,000 (pro-rata for part-time) and will be dependent upon experience.
