Childcare Lawyer

We are currently recruiting for a Childcare Lawyer to join a London Local Authority on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be required to hit the ground running and undertake a full childcare caseload of both public proceedings and pre proceeding matters. The client is happy to look at Newly Qualified Lawyers, and Childcare Lawyers from private practice.

Day to day matters may include;

• ICO's
• ISO's
• EPO's
• Care orders
• Supervision orders

The workload will be varied, and will involve attending Legal Planning Meetings, PLO meetings and Advocates meetings. Due to the fast paced nature of the work, it is important to this team that the successful Childcare Lawyer demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude, and is able to work with dynamism and professionalism to get the job done in the clients' required timeframes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer to join a supportive local authority who can offer the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week, following an initial settling in period. The office is close to public transport links, shops and restaurants.
