Commercial Contracts Lawyer

A busy Local Authority based in South West London  are seeking a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their team.

The role is being offered on an initial three month basis with a high probability of an extension. The position is to start at the end of September and therefore requires candidates to be available to start on short notice.

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you can work under pressure whilst meeting strict deadlines.

You must be able to demonstrate that you can hold a challenging case load including:

•             Complex construction contracts

•             Service contracts

•             Contract related governance issues

•             Advising senior officers within the council

•             Broad advice experience

•             EU Procurement

•             Excellent drafting skills

Previous local authority experience is advantageous but not essential. Please only apply for the role if you possess the requisite experience and are able to make a direct positive impact from the outset.
