In House Counsel

An ambitious Commercial Lawyer is required to take on an In House Counsel role at a tech driven financial services business. This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading global business at their Cheshire based office.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Legal Director, the In House Counsel you will work closely with senior individuals in the business to provide legal, regulatory and governance support.

Key Duties include:

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts for the business
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Group legal and regulatory compliance
• Company secretarial support
• Data protection
• Dispute resolution
• Providing commercial and legal training to the business

The Candidate

To be successful in your application for this Commercial Legal Counsel position, you will ideally have to following attributes:

• 3-5 years’ PQE as a Commercial Solicitor
• A strong commercial contracts background gained at either a mid / top tier practice or in house
• Enthusiasm for technology
• The desire to take on a high profile role within an exciting growing business
