A fantastic opportunity for a junior Procurement Disputes Solicitor has surfaced at the Leeds office of a leading international firm. This is a rare chance to join a team of lawyers who specialise in major high profile procurement challenges.
The Opportunity
This Procurement Disputes Solicitor role will involve the following:
- Gaining exposure to a global platform with plenty of multi-jurisdictional work and genuine overseas opportunities
- Supporting with judicial review work and public law advice, as well as challenging avoidance advice
- Acting on the two largest and most high profile procurement challenges in the UK at the moment, one of which is a claim for around £1billion
Candidate Requirements
The firm is looking for a Procurement Disputes Lawyer who is able to demonstrate:
- 0-4 years’ PQE as a Litigation Lawyer
- A sound academic record, with at least a 2:1 degree and Commendation at LPC
- A genuine interest in procurement challenges and public law on a broader scale
- Specific procurement litigation experience (a bonus)
- A background at a recognised commercial firm / moving from an in-house or public sector environment
On Offer
The Procurement Disputes Solicitor will be rewarded with a salary of £46,000 - £60,000 per annum.
