Commercial Real Estate Lawyer / Commercial Property Lawyer – Mid-Senior Associate - international offshore law firm – Cayman Islands
DESCRIPTION:
Real Estate is a growing area of focus for the offshore legal sector and the Cayman Islands office of this multi-jurisdictional firm has seen a steady increase in demand from its clients. The practice has a dual focus covering the development, leasing, sale or acquisition of high-value property but also spanning the financing and investment aspects of real estate, often working with major lenders and private/fund investors. You will be working closely with a Partner and can expect to be leading on matters as well as playing an integral role in business development, so this is ideal for an experienced lawyer who craves a complete change of scene but who remains career-focused and ambitious.
CRITERIA:
UK/Commonwealth admission
Likely to suit someone with around 5-8 years’ pqe (3+ pqe minimum required for work permit reasons)
Relevant commercial real estate experience including high-value transactions and ideally some exposure to development and/or real estate finance work
LOCATION:
A pre-eminent global financial centre located just an hour from Miami, Grand Cayman offers you a Caribbean lifestyle with no compromise on quality of work, career progression or earning potential. In the office, you will advise international clients on high-value and complex matters, earning a lucrative tax-free salary. After hours, you live in a place that people spend thousands to visit. You can swim with sea turtles, stingrays or starfish, dive some of the world’s most interesting sites, socialise with friends in one of the many beachfront bars or restaurants, or just relax on the pristine sands of Seven Mile Beach. Check out our attached Cayman Guide for more information.
