A household name retailer is seeking an excellent, City-trained, commercial and technology lawyer. The role is based out of Central London.

Responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with teams across the business and implementing legal solutions to a range of complex problems.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts - especially in relation to marketing and advertising and tech procurement.
- Managing relationships with external counsel and liaising with various business units.
- Advising on a wide range of matters including IP, data privacy, IT, commercial, corporate, and employment law.
- Providing legal, commercial and strategic advice on industry and technological developments, including GDPR and ePrivacy.
Requirements
The current legal team is top-tier and possess a wealth of in-house experience. As such, you will possess extensive commercial experience at a City law firm or well respected in-house team.
You will bring high energy and enthusiasm to the role, combined with strong business and commercial focus. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and will work well with autonomy and collaboratively.
You will be a problem solver - using your expertise, commercial acumen & common sense to find solutions to complex problems and ways forward for new projects.
