Debt Recovery Paralegal

Innovative and progressive firm seeks driven Paralegal to join their award winning commercial debt recovery team.

This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career and gain exposure to different areas of commercial law in a supportive and nurturing environment.

You will manage a caseload of pre-legal and legal debt recovery matters for commercial clients. This will involve liaising with a variety of stakeholders by telephone and email, preparing court documents and progressing files.

Whilst you will initially work under supervision and will benefit from ongoing training and development you will be able to work on your own initiative and progress routine tasks autonomously.

Applications will be considered from all Paralegals with debt recovery experience. The essential and desirable criteria are outlined below:

Essential

• Experience working in a law firm
• Working knowledge of the debt recovery process, including the pre-action protocol
• Confident telephone manner

Desirable

• Strong academic record
• Legal qualifications, eg CILEx
