This leading Legal 100 firm is looking for a commercial litigation associate solicitor to join their highly successful Litigation team in the Leeds office. This is an exciting time to join the team, with the opportunity to work from an international platform in a vibrant and growing city.
The UK Litigation practice is dedicated to providing clients with strategic advice and advocacy on their most complex litigation and dispute resolution needs across the globe.
There is a focus towards corporate and commercial work, with specific niche areas such as sanctions/export controls, procurement, education and pensions litigation.
This role will be based in the Leeds team of 4 that comprises of partners and associates. They are looking for a commercial litigation associate solicitor to work on a broad spread of matters across their global platform.
The partners in the group advise on a wide range of litigious issues, mixing general commercial litigation alongside pensions litigation and insurance litigation - they're looking for someone who is happy to cover this broad spread of areas at this stage in their career.
You will be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and have a solid background in commercial litigation (ideally 2-3 years’ PQE). You will be able to demonstrate that you are enthusiastic, driven and keen to develop your business development skills.
You will be committed to building a long-term career in this area of the country and in this area of law. Strong academics are a given, but the ability to turn your academic knowledge into client-focused commercial advice will be key to succeeding in this role.
You will ideally be coming from a well-recognised international, national or regional practice.
