Costs Draftsperson

Kennedys is looking to recruit additional Costs Draftspersons to join our Sheffield office, due to continued expansion.

The Liability Division at Kennedys is spread across our UK offices and advises on a broad range of liability claims acting for insurers, claims handlers and self-insuring corporations. The Sheffield Liability Team deals with claims from small claims track up to high value claims.

Type of Clients

The team acts for a wide variety of clients ranging from large insurers to local authorities and large corporate self insured

Type of Cases

The team acts for the liability and insurance division providing costs advice on negotiating and recovery of personal injury and general costs insurance matters.

What are we looking for?

• Good attention to detail and the ability to deal with a variety of claims
• Experience gained within either a Claimant or Defendant environment
• A degree of experience in drafting bills using Costsmaster, drafting schedules and ideally precedent H budgets would be advantageous 
• Experience of providing assistance on costs to the firm’s clients.
