Our client based in Spinningfields are seeking a 1st/2nd Line IT Helpdesk Assistant to join their IT Department.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all users via email, telephone and face to face.  You will also be responsible for fulfilling IT projects.

Duties include;

  • Respond appropriately to incidents or queries with strict SLA and KPI times
  • Perform administrative tasks (user and server related)
  • Assisting with troubleshooting hardware and application specific issues
  • Take ownership of requests assigned to you and manage them through to resolution
  • Help support and train other team members

This role would suit candidates who has 12 months+ experience within IT support in a commercial environment. Candidates must have Windows Desktop 7-10, Citrix XenApp/ XenDesktop, Windows Server 2008 R2 TO 2016.

Candidates who hold formal IT qualifications will be at an advantage.

The hours of work will be 35- 40 hours per week, working Monday – Friday with rotational shifts between (phone number removed). The role is based in Manchester but there will be occasional travel to Liverpool and London
