We are currently seeking a Principal Solicitor to lead the in-house provision of legal services to the business. In this key role you will deliver a high quality and efficient service by effectively leading, managing and motivating the Legal Services team.

Proactive in your approach you will ensure a high quality legal service to the group, this will include strong relationships with Executive Directors, Directors, Head of Service and other relevant staff, including the Board and its committees.

Other duties will include, driving value for money in the delivery of legal services, to ensure that the provision of services remains fit for purpose. You will also support the General Counsel and Company Secretary and other relevant colleagues, to make sure Paradigm has appropriate systems and processes in place to manage litigation risk. 

A strong track record in contentious property matters/ property litigation with experience of significant property litigation including residential landlord and tenant, housing management and or service charges is essential. A professional qualification (Solicitor, Barrister, Legal Executive) with substantial post qualification experience is required. Further to this the ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication skills, that generates confidence and respect with a wide variety of audiences is also needed.
