Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts - £90k

Our client is a global technology company head quartered in London. They currently have operations in over 100 countries and are market leading pioneers in their field.

Due to the continued growth and expansion within the company, they are now keen to hire an experienced legal counsel to join the team working very closely with senior management.

The successful candidate will have had broad experience with commercial contracts and a particular specialism with B2B service agreements.

Duties will include:

• Drafting, advising and negotiating around general commercial contracts such as software and cloud agreements, intellectual property and technology agreements, NDAs and complex master services agreements,
• Advising around relevant regulatory changes and assessing risk in a fast-paced commercial environment,
• Advising around any forms of dispute resolution that may arise within the commercial, employment or regulatory aspects of the business,
• Supporting on other ad-hoc projects or requirements including m&a, corporate governance and compliance;
• Liaising with external counsel both domestically and internationally.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified as a Solicitor in England Wales,
• At least 5 years post qualification experience,
• Training at a leading UK or international law firm; or well-regarded in-house legal team,
• Extensive experience with a broad range of commercial contracts and technology/software agreements,
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team; and
• Capable of managing senior stakeholder relationships.
