Competitive

We are looking for an ambitious Lawyer to join Thomson Snell & Passmore’s nationally regarded Court of Protection team at an exciting time in the team and firm’s history. Based in our Tunbridge Wells office, the successful Court of Protection Lawyer will be offered a full-time, permanent position. We would also welcome applications from CILEx qualified Legal Executives.

Your new firm

As our new Court of Protection Lawyer, you will be joining a firm whose reputation in this field is second to none, being ranked Tier 1, UK wide, by both The Legal 500 and Chambers UK directories. We fiercely protect our hard-earned status and, naturally, there is a considerable focus on the high quality of service we provide to our clients and referrers.

Your new role

The key elements of your new role with us will include:

  • Working on a high-quality caseload of Court of Protection work
  • Acting on behalf of both adults and children with acquired brain injuries
  • Developing your own name as an expert within this field

We mark our 450th anniversary in 2020, and move into modern new offices later this year, enabling our ambitious plans to build on our heritage and further develop the firm’s offering.  The way we work and support our people is at the heart of this strategy, centred on our inclusive culture.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will be an existing specialist in this field, looking to develop and enhance your reputation, or a well-established Private Client Lawyer with Court of Protection experience who is keen to specialise.

Ideally you will demonstrate 6 years of experience administering large damages awards on behalf of both adults and children with acquired brain injuries.

Benefits

We have a fantastic track record of enabling our Court of Protection team to fulfil their potential, with great work and a national reputation to help you develop yourself as an expert in the field. You will benefit from high quality work, clients and colleagues, as well as a competitive annual salary.
