An opportunity has arisen to join a high calibre team of lawyers as an energy disputes solicitor/associate within the infrastructure, construction and energy disputes department within the Aberdeen office.
You will work alongside leading partners and wider teams across the UK and abroad, getting involved in both UK and international work.
This opportunity will see you specialising in commercial disputes with a particular focus on the energy sector with contentious and non-contentious regulatory work. You will be expected to advise on a broad range of complex regulatory and contractual issues and disputes.
The work will be challenging, primarily focused on oil & gas up in Aberdeen. From time to time, you will be involved in disputes between large oil companies, acting within the supply chain, between broken oil rigs, FPFO'S, issues within insolvency work, rigs that are financially struggling and design issues between technical equipment.
In return, you will gain experience and exposure to high net-worth individuals and excellent quality work to expand and nurture your existing skills. Appropriate mentoring and support from approachable, experienced solicitors will keep your training up to date. You will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.
This position is within the Aberdeen office, however, some elements of travel across the UK and overseas when required will be necessary.
