CORPORATE SOLICITOR / ASSOCIATE - MANCHESTER
Corporate Solicitor / Associate Manchester - This is an outstanding opportunity to join the Manchester corporate team of a leading international firm, with a particular emphasis on work conducted in the Middle East. The firm has an established presence in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman with key expertise in the engineering, energy and transport sectors. The Manchester office works closely with the wider global network of offices providing corporate and commercial law advice to a vast range of 'blue chip' clients with established operations in the Middle East.

- Previous experience: 3 PQE + Candidates should have a solid background in corporate M&A work from a respected national or regional law firm. Those with a background in in other areas such as restructuring and commercial will also be considered.
AN ESTABLISHED PLAYER IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Our client has an established presence in the Middle East and an excellent reputation forged over 30 years or so of advising 'blue chip' clients who operate in the area. They have built up a full suite of services including real estate, dispute resolution, employment, IP and regulatory and boast an in depth understanding of the local business communities and how they operate.
Expertise is not simply drawn from lawyers embedded in the local market, but from their global network of lawyers. With this in mind, the UK Manchester office is looking to recruit an experienced corporate solicitor who will advise predominantly on transactions in the Middle East.
WHO THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
The successful applicant will advise on a broad spread of corporate work including M&A and private equity and some IPO work. The team also advises on other areas such as corporate restructuring and major joint venture agreements so anyone with a restructuring or more general commercial background is also encouraged to apply.
Any experience in the transport, engineering or energy sectors would be extremely useful, but is not absolutely necessary.
