Role overview
A fantastic opportunity to get a starter role in an ambitious Law firm to start your legal career. We have an excellent record of developing our staff and many of our current fee earners started out in admin roles before progressing. The role is currently based in Bridgewater, although we will shortly be relocating to Taunton.
You will provide office based administrative support to the legal team including dealing with correspondence produced by the typing pool, making amendments/finding attachments, collating bundles/documents for Courts, email correspondence, filing, scanning and faxing, to include chasing experts, CRU, witnesses etc., dealing with telephone calls (both internally and externally), travel booking, diary management including meeting bookings and Court dates/Counsel, gathering and recording of client MI, administering the case management system and maintaining other office systems.
You’ll also have responsibility for financial transactions such as cheque requests, cheque cancellations and dealing with expenses submissions for approval. Preparing invoices/bills to meet deadlines.

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE/O Level – English Language and Mathematics (A – C)
- Good standard of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable:
- Legal/insurance administrative environment experience but not essential as training is provided on the job
- Case management experience
- Telephone call handling experience
