Business Development Manager – 3 days a week – Litigation

Our client, a top 50 UK law firm is looking to recruit a BD Manager to work solely for their Litigation Department.   The role, which is newly created, will report to the Head of Disputes and will offer the opportunity to take ownership of the entire BD strategy for the team.  The total headcount at the firm is 350 (and growing).

The ideal BD Manager will be someone who has been working in legal or professional services and has worked on the development and implementation of relationship strategies.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior marketing professional to really make a difference and play a defining role in the development of the firm's profile and BD & marketing communications strategy. Main responsibilities will be a combination of cutting edge case development and wider business development work identifying and targeting opportunities and growth markets, commissioning and interpreting competitor research, maintaining budgets, working with the partners to identify and evaluate pursuits, providing advice and input in the bid process.

You will ideally have knowledge of Commercial Litigation and have a proven track record of running successful BD projects.
