Leading US law firm is looking to hire an experienced 1st/2nd Line support specialist to join their expanding and ever-busy IT department.  This role’s duties will include deskside support, ensure incidents/requests are logged and entered accurately and to respond to calls elevated by the 1st line service desk, escalation of problems and outstanding tickets, software/hardware testing and evaluation, administer team inbox/calendar, video-Conferencing and AV support, PC imaging and deployment and work within weekly rotating service desk shift pattern, procurement of IT equipment, to be on-call as required by the firm, provision of support services to other European offices, be available for weekend work and possibility of European travel and to undertake any other tasks or responsibilities that reasonably fall within the remit of this post and attend off site training.  Applicants require proven software skill set in commonly used operating systems, word processing, imaging, remote access and call logging software, proven knowledge of commonly used hardware and peripherals, at least two years’ experience of support provision in a networked site in an environment demanding high system availability, demonstrable customer service skills, be a self-motivator and team player with a ‘Can do' approach to all matters.
