Paralegal at Successful International Law Firm in Bristol: to £24,000

Bristol based international law firm is looking to recruit a Paralegal to work predominately within their Media, IP & Technology team, providing support to the Fee-Earners on a permanent basis.  This role will be working in the Bristol office, however the role will be crossing over to the London team on a regular basis, as well as other practice areas in the firm.  Duties will include drafting letters and documents (both manually and via our automated services), including engagement letters, letters of claim in a subrogated recovery claim, and instructions to counsel, legal research and the preparation of case summaries, contract review, including drawing attention to clauses in proposed construction contracts that could compromise insurance cover, preparation of cost budgets and schedules (including reworking and categorising financial data to present to court or evaluating costs on the settlement of a claim), the review and compilation of client data in the preparation of exhibits for witness statements, or mediation and court bundles, there may be opportunities to liaise with the Insured party and third party claims adjusters, as well as instructed experts.  Candidates must be degree educated (minimum 2:1), have strong IT skills, as well as a strong ability to work well under pressure.  A minimum of 1 years’ previous Paralegal experience is required.  Standard hours for this role are 9.30am to 5.30pm.
