Our client is a Legal 500 law firm with offices across Scotland and Europe who is now seeking a litigation solicitor (3+ years' PQE) to join their well-regarded and growing Litigation Team (Shipping & Marine) in Aberdeen. This role will be offered on a 12 months' FTC basis, however, may be extended thereafter.
You will be working within one of the best and most experienced Litigation teams and for a firm who are committed to equality, diversity and an inclusive environment.
Your role will include a varied and high-quality caseload - marine/oil and gas related incidents where you will gain exposure to a diverse range of clients both within Scotland and internationally. You will also be involved in dealing with a wide spectrum of non-contentious matters.
To be considered for this litigation solicitor opportunity, you will ideally have gained exposure to similar litigation matters or have a desire to want to explore an opportunity within the shipping and marine sector. Experience within the Sheriff Court, ASPIC and/or the Court of Session would be highly advantageous.
This opportunity would be well suited to a driven and commercially minded individual who has a proactive and team approach. The firm will offer excellent ongoing training and progression, as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.
