Our client is a highly reputable Legal 500 law firm with offices across Scotland and Europe and, due to organic growth, their well-regarded Litigation Team seeks to take an additional solicitor advocate or advocate with a solid background in insurance litigation to join them in Edinburgh.
You will be working within one of the best and most experienced litigation teams and for a firm who is committed to equality, diversity and an inclusive environment.
Your responsibilities will include advocacy in a variety of stimulating and challenging disputes across a wide range of sectors such as finance, retail, land & rural, insurance, sport, life sciences, oil and gas, charities and the public sector.
In addition to this, you will be expected to appear in the Sheriff Courts and Court of Session, with the opportunity to appear in the Supreme Court in appropriate cases and be a member of the firm's solicitor advocate panel.
To be considered for this insurance litigation solicitor advocate/advocate opportunity you will ideally have a solid background in insurance litigation and experience within professional negligence would also be welcomed.
You will be a self-motivated individual who has a bright and methodical approach. The firm will offer excellent ongoing training and progression as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.
