Your new company
A Top 50 Birmingham Law Firm is looking to recruit a Solicitor for their Real Estates Disputes Team. This Firm combines creativity, commerciality and clarity, working with blue-chip companies, leading organisations and high street brands across the UK. The Real Estates Disputes Team advise on a wide range of disputes in relation to freehold or leasehold property, in particular advising on a large volume of business lease renewals. These disputes arise from the development of land including rights of light part wall and boundary disputes, advising on commercial landlord and tenant disputes including service or break notices, forfeiture and notices to quit, and the recovery of property or unpaid rent and service charges.
Your new role
As a Real Estates Solicitor within this Firm you will provide clients with a quality service in specialist real estate disputes matters within a growing, national team, working on high value and complex commercial property litigation/dispute caseload. This is a unique and interesting opportunity to join a leading team in this specialist area
Key duties are:
- Providing assistance to a team of experienced lawyers on a broad range of high value and complex commercial property disputes. Including property management and property development disputes. i:
- all aspects of lease management disputes, including rent recovery
- rent review
- termination by break notices
- forfeitures etc.
- all aspects of property development disputes including: trespass, squatter injunctions, protests injunctions, rights of light, nuisance, etc.
- running own caseload of mainly 1954 Act lease renewals for both landlords and tenants
What you'll need to succeed
This Firm is looking for a Solicitor who has 1-3 years PQE with a passion for real estate and litigation. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow within this Team.
