Birmingham City Council are currently recruiting for a Commercial Solicitor to start ASAP on a temporary, ongoing basis. Your new role
As a Commercial Solicitor, you will be assisting the Council with regards to new generation in the city, including large projects relating to the 2022 Commonwealth Games, including the building of new stadiums and more specifically, the athletes village. You will be leading on a number of large scale projects across the city in relation to the Games and will also be required to occasionally travel to London.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced Commercial Solicitor, you will have experience of working on various large scale projects ideally with a strong focus on delivery and legacy. A strong corporate knowledge and Property experience would be highly beneficial to this role. Knowledge of Joint Contract Tribunal's (JCT) and New Contract Engineering (NEC) would be highly beneficial.
