Senior Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner

An experienced Residential Property Paralegal or Solicitor/ CILEX/Licensed Conveyaner or Experienced Fee Earner (2 years +) is required for a rewarding opportunity within a well-known and prominent law practice with an outstanding reputation and presence in the UK's legal market.

Our client is looking for a fee earner to take on a senior role within the Residential Property team at their Stockport office. They are a well established law firm with multiple offices across Cheshire.

Job Purpose

To initiate, process and complete the full spectrum of residential property fee-earning work for client files, in line with the duties of a Senior Residential Property Fee Earner. Candidates must have enough experience to complete this process unsupervised.
To ensure the successful development of the firm in line with the group and firm business plans.

Key responsibilities:

-Conduct of matters on behalf of clients accurately, reliably and in accordance with the firm's quality and risk management procedures
-To generate fee income and ensure proper control of time recording, work in progress, billing and cash collection in line with agreed targets unless exceptional circumstances apply.
-Take an active part in business development opportunities on behalf of the team and firm.
-Supervision and support of fee earning work undertaken by colleagues to cover absence and holidays, for example.
-Supervision of other fee earning colleagues.
-Attend to clients, both in person and on the telephone, and provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care.

A team player within the group and firm as a whole.
Efficient, well organised, and timely.
Effective communicator by telephone, face to face and in writing.

Experience & education:

Admitted as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or equivalent.
Experience and relevant qualifications for residential property work.
2+ PQE.
