Your new company
Due to an increased workload, we are now looking to recruit a Locum Commercial Property Solicitor to work in the heart of the city centre for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of being extended further. Birmingham City Council is the largest single local authority in Europe offering a range of opportunities and regeneration. Your new role
Working in the Commercial Property Team, you will be responsible for negotiating new leases as well as renewal leases. You will be drafting and negotiating property management documents including Licences for Works, Licences to Assign or Subject. In addition to this, you will also be advising on commercial landlord and tenant matters as well as commercial conveyancing including freehold and leasehold disposals, conditional or unconditional , including Agreements for Lease.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer / Legal Executive, you will have all round experience of property matters. You will have had experience of dealing with due diligence on acquisitions and experience of commercial property development would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
