A top 20 City firm is looking for a 2-5 PQE Banking & Finance Associate to join its highly regarded and ranked Banking & Finance team in London.

The Client:

This mid-sized City firm boasts a Legal 500 rated Banking & Finance team which possesses a long-established experience of advising financial institutions (banks, development banks, funds and alternative lenders) and borrowers on a wide range of lending work, including bilateral bank lending work. The Banking & Finance team in London frequently works with colleagues from the firm’s other 25+ international offices on cross-border financings.

The Role:

In this 2-5 PQE Banking & Finance role, you will carry out a wide range of lending work, including bilateral bank lending work, sports finance (mainly football transfers and media rights receivables), acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance (with an emphasis on renewable energy projects), cross-border financings, bank lending work in emerging markets, asset finance and Islamic finance.

Your work will involve a good combination of drafting and negotiating deals and wider client interaction.

Requirements:

To be successful in this Banking & Finance role, you will have a strong academic background, training in a City firm environment and evidential transactional Banking & Finance experience.
