Business Acceptance Lawyer

Do you have experience of working at a senior level in a global firm across a range of business acceptance issues such as risk management, financial crime, sanctions and conflicts? 4 or 5 day opportunity to join the General Counsel team and work on emerging international risk and compliance issues.

THE ROLE

This is a wide ranging role with room to expand and progress. To work on all aspects of the firm's client acceptance protocols, assessing risk and liasing with partners and fee earners globally to identify, prevent, manage and resolve any issues. The successful candidate will also assist with training and awareness raising for the business.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You will need to be legally qualified and admitted in the UK, common law or EU and have experience in a similar calibre law firm working with senior stakeholders. Ideally you should have experience in some of the following: AML, financial crime, conflicts, due diligence and sanctions risk. Any experience in managing US conflict rules is highly desirable.

In addition to your subject area expertise, you should have excellent communication skills, commercial acumen and the ability to take ownership of issues.
