A top US firm with a global footprint is looking for an entrepreneurial Employee Benefits Associate (mid-senior) to join its London team.

The Firm:

This top international US firm boasts one of the largest global network of lawyers. It is a full service firm with a strong sector focus.

The Team:

The Employee Benefits team sits within the firm’s Employment department but also works closely with the Tax team. The team comprises one partner and a handful of associates. There is always a solid flow of varied work which is generally split as follows:

• 40% advisory work;
• 40% corporate support; and
• 20% gig economy / tech work from the US network of share plan lawyers.

The Role:

In this Employee Benefits role, you will support the team and develop your own niche area within the practice. There are partnership opportunities available if the candidate can bring a new specialism to the team which they successfully develop and grow.

Requirements:

To be successful in this Employee Benefits role, you will have an excellent academic background (a minimum 2.1 degree) and experience of Employee Benefits work at a City firm. The team is specifically interested in candidates who are entrepreneurial and are willing to help grow and develop the team’s existing offering. Candidates with experience working in executive remuneration, gig economy disputes, the private equity / financial services sectors are of particular interest.
