Corporate Lawyer / Funds Lawyer - Associate (x2) - Global offshore law firm – Cayman Islands

DESCRIPTION:  

The Cayman Islands are a great place to be a funds lawyer. You will enjoy an exceptionally high-quality of work, advising global clients on some of the largest and most innovative matters in the international funds market. You will be involved in a wide array of work across the life cycle of a fund and you may well notice a marked increase in the level of involvement and responsibility. It is a client-facing role and will suit someone who is determined to make an impact and really push their career on to a new level. To aid you in this, the firm has a strong structure which makes clear what the requirements are at each stage and it provides the training and support to help you achieve it.

CRITERIA:           

The firm has an established team which it is looking to strengthen with a further two hires at Associate level. UK/Commonwealth admission is essential for work permit reasons, as is a minimum of 3 years’ pqe. Relevant City/International firm or equivalent corporate experience is expected; prior exposure to funds, even if only on an occasional basis, would be great but a lack of this shouldn’t put off a corporate lawyer with a genuine desire to move into this area.

SALARY:              

Dependent on experience – expected range USD140k to USD185k, tax-free, benefits, relocation
