Highly regarded data privacy team seeks a Senior Privacy Advisor to work as part of a global group. You will work for a cutting-edge advanced engineering business where data has a significant impact on how the organisation operates.

The role:

  • As a Senior Data Privacy Advisor you will work as a subject matter expert providing timely advice to the business globally.
  • You will lead key business projects involving privacy impact.
  • You will maintain and enhance privacy compliance in line with changes in the law helping to maintain strategic alignment.
  • Be responsible for timely processing of data subject requests and complaints.
  • Escalate privacy risk.
  • Collaborate across the group to build processes and support.
  • Manage and mentor junior colleagues.

 

 

Key Requirements:

 

 

  • You will possess at least three years’ experience in data privacy.
  • Prior experience within legal, compliance or data protection including legislation and compliance for the manufacturing or engineering sector preferred.
  • A legal, CIPP/E or CIPP/M qualification is a benefit.
  • High attention to detail, good organisational skills and able to work independently essential.
  • You will be a dynamic, self-starter able to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel internationally on occasion.
  • Experience of managing or mentoring other people preferred.
