Highly regarded data privacy team seeks a Privacy Advisor to work as part of a global group. You will work for a cutting-edge advanced engineering business where data has a significant impact on how the organisation operates.
The role:
- As a Data Privacy Advisor you will work as a subject matter expert providing timely advice to the business globally.
- You will maintain and enhance privacy compliance in line with changes in the law helping to maintain strategic alignment.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintain records.
- Respond to data subject requests and complaints.
- Support marketing campaigns.
- Escalate privacy risk.
Key Requirements:
- You will have worked in data privacy for at least one year.
- Prior experience within legal, compliance or data protection including legislation and compliance for the manufacturing or engineering sector preferred.
- A legal, CIPP/E or CIPP/M qualification is an advantage but not essential.
- High attention to detail, good organisational skills and able to work independently essential.
- You will be a dynamic, self-starter able to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
