A well-regarded international law firm is looking to add a Senior Commercial Associate to their award-winning Manchester team. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this commercial role also has an intellectual property slant. Known for their dynamic and progressive culture, the firm needs an experienced Commercial Solicitor to help build the team as they enter their next phase of growth.

Your new firm

The Commercial Associate will be joining an award-winning international law firm with a full commercial offering that is ranked Tier 2 in the Chambers and Legal 500 directories. The firm works with clients in sectors as diverse as retail, transport, distribution, manufacturing, health, education, local government, sports, tech, media, telecoms and entertainment.

Your new role

Key elements of your new role as Commercial Associate will include:

• Providing advice to corporates, public bodies (including local authorities, higher education institutions and NHS bodies) third sector bodies, SMEs and individuals
• Handling a mixed caseload of commercial and transactional work
• Handling high-quality work with a wide range of national clients
• Helping to project manage complex public sector and business critical transactions

Candidate profile

The firm looks to hire an England & Wales qualified Solicitor who demonstrates:

• 6+ years of PQE in a commercial role
• Strong academics and an excellent training record
• Excellent drafting skills and first-rate technical knowledge
• Experience of IP and commercial contracts would be ideal
