Regulatory Senior Associate/ Legal Director OR Barrister 5+ years’ PQE/ Call MANCHESTER

Commercial law firm in Manchester is looking to recruit a Regulatory Senior Associate/ Legal Director OR Barrister to join its well-regarded Regulatory team. The team provides their clients with a complete service that covers all aspects of regulatory law, from commercially based compliance advice right through to protecting the interests of companies or individuals facing Regulatory investigation or prosecution. You will be a commercial Regulatory Solicitor/ Barrister with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE/ Call and will be involved in the following areas: • contentious and non-contentious work within commercial Health and Safety, Environmental and Food Safety • work within Trading law, for example Product Liability, Advertising and Promotional standards issues • providing advice within commercial investigations, inquests and enquiries • advisory and advocacy work within white collar fraud, financial compliance and crime • working closely with our clients to keep them abreast with any relevant regulatory development in their sector • providing bespoke training to clients to ensure that client staff fully understand regulatory risks and are able to make commercial decisions within this framework.

If you are a qualified Solicitor you will specialise in Regulatory matters and our client will consider Regulatory specialists or generalists. If you are a barrister, you will either specialise in undertaking Regulatory cases or undertake a more general Commercial Litigation caseload with Regulatory matters constituting at least part of that caseload.
