A long established multi-accredited law firm in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a senior childcare solicitor (Children's Panel Member) to join their established family team.
This firm is already established in childcare services and you will be joining a well-regarded team with an enviable reputation. The team, which consists of a number of Children's Panel specialists, has considerable expertise in disputes between parents, grandparents etc and involving social services.
Working with a team that is well known for their outstanding focus within family and children matters, you will be a senior childcare solicitor that is accredited by the Children Panel to join their team.
The successful childcare solicitor will be expected to handle a caseload of children work and undertake their own advocacy. Matters including residence and contact disputes, child abduction and proceedings where the local authority have instituted or are considering commencing care proceedings.
In addition, you'll play an active part in mentoring more junior members of the team and have involvement in marketing the family department.
A following of work/existing guardian contacts around the Greater Manchester or surrounding areas would be highly desirable.
Salary is provided as a guide only and is very much negotiable depending on experience. In addition, the firm offers various benefits including pension, death in service, generous holiday allowance, car parking and annual bonuses.
