The Role

This new firm is looking for an experienced Scottish Qualified Personal Injury Lawyer to head their Personal Injury offering with the flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK and the potential to work on a part-time basis.

Due to being the main figurehead of this new venture you will need to be a highly motivated, business-minded and ambitious lawyer who is looking to take their career to the next level. Experience of working at a Senior or Managerial level would be desirable. In return, you will find the opportunities for personal growth are boundless with the full support of a highly profitable and experienced management team behind you.

The Regional heavyweight backing this firm has an instant caseload of 35 cases to be able to pass on day one and a monthly workflow of c cases a month from the Scottish area to refer on an ongoing basis so there is no requirement to have your own caseload or referring relationships. This large level of workflow is with zero marketing investment or focus on pushing for work from Scotland so there is a vast amount of opportunity to build an exciting and market-leading Scottish Personal Injury brand.

The workload will be engaging, challenging and rewarding with you representing clients who are victims of Road Traffic Accidents, Accidents at Works, Slips & Trips, Occupiers Liability and Employers Liability. You will have a platform to showcase your exceptional communication skills, superb judgement ,and confident decision-making, backed by your extensive legal knowledge and expertise whilst having the confidence in dealing with sensitive injury issues.

Experience of taking a case from trial through to post exchange is a must including, carrying out investigations, witness statement preparation, conferences ,and court hearings.

The firm is looking for a highly skilled lawyer who can combine excellent communication and client care skills along with technical expertise. In return, you will get an unparalleled opportunity for career advancement working.

Requirements:

  • A Solicitor 7+ years PQE with experience of Road Traffic Accidents, Work Accidents, Slips & Trips Employers Liability ,and Occupier's Liability
  • You must be Scottish Qualified
  • The hunger, dedication and ambition to build a new brand, manage and be a key figure in a new firm
  • Excellent experience and knowledge of both Fast track and Multi-Track caseloads
  • Someone who is self-sufficient and thrives in a busy working environment
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, demonstrating an ability to empathise with vulnerable clients is essential
  • Salary is market rate but there are also bonus opportunities
