Planning Lawyer

Our client a local authority based in East London is seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer for three months initially.

The successful Planning Lawyer will be required to pick up an existing planning and highways caseload from the outset.  You will be required to undertake the following matters:

- Draft planning agreements, undertakings and highways agreements

- Advise on matters relating to public rights of way

- Have conduct of proceedings, public inquiries, judicial reviews and appeals relating to planning matters

- Cover planning committee when required

In order to be considered for the role, it is essential you have previously carried a planning and highways caseload and can work with minimal supervision. Previous local authority experience is advantageous but not essential.
