A UK Production Company is recruiting for a Head of Legal to lead a small legal team in London.
Client Details
Recognisable name in scripted drama TV production, my client has a real pedigree in producing excellent drama content with an HQ in London.
Description
The Head of Legal will be responsible for :
- negotiating deals in the development and production fields, such as writers, authors, development producers, directors, actors, composers and producers
- handling issues relating to rights clearance, IP infringement and compliance
- Leading in the preparation of broadcaster, co-production and tax incentive deals
- negotiating and drafting deals relating to scripted productions including the exploitation of digital media rights, publication rights, merchandising and licensing rights, soundtrack album rights and any related sponsorship arrangements
- significant stakeholder management
Profile
The ideal Head of Legal will be a UK qualified lawyer having obtained training at a leading law firm.
Ideally c7 years PQE*
You will have had strong in-house production experience ( end to end )
Excellent stakeholder management skills with strong industry relationships.
