Our client, a global technology business has an exciting opportunity within their Trade Compliance Team for a period of 6 months with a possibility to be extended beyond this.

You will work within the Trade Compliance Team - EMEA to support the global trade compliance program objectives in connection with activities that involve the assigned region, including activities subject to export controls, economic sanctions and anti-boycott laws.

Key Responsibilities:
*Support the global trade compliance program with a particular focus on the assigned region (EMEA)
*Provide trade compliance guidance, commercial transactional support and defence transactional support for the EMEA region
*Work with senior management and outside counsel regarding transactional trade compliance support and the trade compliance program
*Assist with the development and delivery of trade compliance training
The successful candidate will have a law degree and a minimum of 4 years* corporate and commercial experience within a large multinational law firm or corporation. Trade compliance experience (export controls, economic sanctions and anti-boycott laws) is essential.
The UK office is based in London however this role offers a lot of flexibility and could be based in Europe. If you are familiar with US trade controls and anti-boycott laws with strong interpersonal and communication skills I would encourage you to apply.
