Corporate Associate / Senior Associate Manchester - Fantastic opportunity for experienced corporate solicitor with established network in Manchester and the North West. The team is looking for someone with a growing network of contacts (not necessarily a following as such) who is looking for a firm where they can develop their own presence and 'brand' with a view to working towards Partnership.

• Previous experience: Solicitor with 3 PQE+ in corporate M&A work. Candidates should be interested in business development and should have started to develop a network of their own.

This is a leading top 100 law firm with a highly regarded team. The department advise on a range of matters including M&A deals, Private Equity and IPOs. The client list ranges from high-quality SME work to advising major national and publicly listed clients.

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

This particular piece of recruitment has come about due to a need to recruit a corporate M&A lawyer with a real interest in business development. Applicants should ideally be already be embedded in the local Manchester market, though a following is certainly not necessary.

The successful candidate will be ambitious and keen to work with the rest of the corporate team in nurturing and growing the M&A offering. It should be pointed out that this role offers a clear route through to Partnership.
