A forward thinking, Top 200 law firm in Blackburn is looking to hire a commercially minded Senior Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to head up its family department.
As the Head of Family, you'll be joining an established family team where you'll play an active part in further developing the team and drive the department forward. In addition to overseeing the team, you'll be handling your own cases of a mix of private and publicly funded cases (including divorce, finance, children law, co-habitation disputes, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements).
You must be a qualified Family Solicitor or Legal Executive/FILEx with 5yrs+ PQE in handling a broad range of private and publicly funded family matters undertaking your own advocacy. You'll likely have proven experience in supervising/mentoring colleagues and currently be in a similar role leading a team. Ideally, you'll be family law accredited for Domestic Abuse and/or Resolution.
On offer is a competitive salary, likely up to c£60,000 plus bonus and a range of benefits including home working/flexible working.
