Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer - NQ-Senior++ - London

We are working with a leading Top 100 law firm in their search for a non-contentious construction lawyer. Due to the growth of the team, there are options for candidates across a full scope of PQE, from NQ through to Senior Associate, Legal Director and/or Partner.

The firm's Housing and Regeneration team undertake a full range of real estate work to include development and construction work for their health, housing and social care clients across both the public and private sectors. They frequently advise on housing and hospital developments as well as energy infrastructure projects.

The successful individual will undertake a range of complex and high-quality work for public sector and independent sector clients - to include those within the health and energy sectors. You will have your own caseload with an enviable level of client contact, work alongside partners and solicitors within the Real Estate and Housing teams and will have the support from more senior solicitors and partners where necessary.

For junior applicants there will be a significant support networks and supervision provided to get you up and running and working effectively.

For senior applicants there is the opportunity to work towards Partnership and leading/managing more junior members of the team.

Candidates should:

• Be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction
• Have undertaken seats in construction law if at the NQ Level, or have post qualified experience in handing construction law work, particularly non-contentious construction matters
• Possess experience gained from notable City and Regional firms
• Be able to demonstrate experience of JCT and NEC forms of contract
• Show the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Have excellent communication and drafting skills
• Have a genuine interest in getting involved in business development opportunities

Senior candidates who are looking to come in at a Partner level or on track to Partnership, it is worth noting that a following is not required as the firm appreciate the niche sector they work within - of which they are the market leader.

Foreign qualified candidates are also encouraged to apply providing a strong construction law background can be demonstrated.
