A top tier firm is seeking a Corporate / Projects Associate to join its highly regarded team in Manchester. This is a permanent, full time position.

Role Description

The Projects Lawyer will be joining a team which regularly advises on high profile projects with an international scope, with a particular focus on local government and transport. Key elements of the role include:

• Advising on complex projects, procurements, outsourcings and commercial contracts for a range of clients including both public sector and private clients
• Plenty of client contact from day one, together with client secondment opportunities
• Working as part of the firm’s national network as one business unit
• Dealing with a range of work in both the UK and abroad

This is an excellent role to diversify your skillset - you can expect a more varied role with a better work life balance than in a traditional corporate role and you do not need to have worked in projects before - the team have alumni from a number of different backgrounds.

Candidate Profile

The firm requires a Projects Associate with the following attributes:

• Projects / Corporate Solicitor - Qualified England and Wales
• 3+ years’ PQE
• Commercial or corporate expertise
• Excellent academics with a minimum of a 2:1 degree
• The desire to develop their expertise in projects

Salary and Benefits

On offer for this Projects Lawyer opportunity:

• £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
