Top 50 UK law firm has a new opening to suit an experienced corporate solicitor to join their market leading corporate team in Leeds.

Our client has an outstanding reputation for corporate law and is home to a team which handles high quality transactional work including high value corporate M&A, private equity and financing work on behalf of major listed businesses, PLCs, owner managed businesses, partnerships and start-ups in a range of sectors including retail, technology, property and engineering/manufacturing. The role will involve working on a broad range of matters including mergers and acquisitions (acting for sellers and buyers) and on shares and business transactions.

Due to increasing demand, the partners are keen to appoint an associate with a minimum of 3 years corporate transactional experience. This role would suit a lawyer practising in the local market and/or an individual with plans to relocate to Leeds from another centre or London.

You will have proven technical skills and a track record of working on good sized transactions. You'll have the opportunity in this role to build strong relationships with new and existing clients and will supervise more junior members of the team.
