Corporate Commercial Solicitor

A high profile firm is now looking to add to their noted Corporate Commercial team based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. 
 
This would suit a corporate commercial solicitor with strong academics coming in from a city or large regional firm. The successful candidate will have had exposure to good quality corporate or commercial work.
 
There is a range of work available. Some matters you will assist in and some you'll have sole responsibility for.
 
Complex, technical work comes into the department and the firm has a number of blue-chip clients, as well as regional and local clients who provide regular work.
 
The opportunity here is for someone coming in at NQ-2 years' PQE or equivalent. Typically in this role, you will be:

• Providing support and assistance under the supervision and guidance of senior colleagues in a busy and developing department.
• Taking responsibility for due diligence and disclosure, including supervising more junior colleagues in data room management.
• Delegating work as appropriate to more junior colleagues and supervising that work (offering guidance where appropriate) to ensure the quality of work produced by the department is of the highest standard.
• Taking an active involvement in business development activities organised by the department, division and firm.
