Legal Counsel - Northampton
Our client, a leader within the technology sector are now actively in the market seeking to recruit for a Legal Counsel, with a minimum of four years PQE**.
Applications are welcome from Commercial Solicitors, either with an in-house or private practice background and be able to demonstrate a high degree of commercial acumen with an awareness of the pressures that face innovative, fast moving businesses.
Summary of responsibilities:
*Provide pragmatic and commercial legal advice to the business.
*Handle employment law to include TUPE.
*Draft and negotiate customer and supplier contracts.
*Draft and negotiate business partner, distributor and sales agency agreements.
*Advise on Intellectual Property matters.
*Update precedent contracts and terms and conditions as and when required.
*Advise the business on the interpretation of commercial contracts.
Applicant requirements:
*Qualified Solicitor, with extensive Commercial experience with a minimum of four years PQE**
*Proficient user of Microsoft office software
*Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Organised and able to prioritise a workload effectively
*Excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate at all levels of the business
